The Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Management) Regulations had implemented on 1 April 2002 and it places a statutory obligation on employers of factories, construction sites and certain industries to establish an occupational health and safety management system in their establishment and to conduct an independent audit once every 6 months or once a year.
As a lot of factories are not familiar with such system, the assistance of a consultancy service becomes an essential and most cost-effective way of such implementation.
We are a long established safety consultancy firm consisting of occupational safety and health experts, safety auditors and safety officers with different kinds of working experience. We can offer the consultancy service to meet the legal requirement include the following:
Study the existing safety and health system of the client and to identify gaps in the system with the legal requirement.
Provide a safety plan or safety manual as the basis of the Safety Management System of the client’s activities.
Training of the management staff on the approach and requirement of the Safety Management System.
Training of supervisors in the implementation of the system and keeping of record.
Training of a safety coordinator identified by the Client for monitoring and measurement of the safety performance.
Carry out fortnightly inspection and dialogue with the Client on the progress of the implementation of the Safety Management System.
